What's your preference? Just curious to hear responses and why.

On, because it keeps the rpms low and I feel like I use less gas. Plus I hate the o/d off light lol

On, becaue burns up fuel with it Off. I only turn it Off when I need to pass quickly.

I figured y'all would know this, but you really dont need to turn overdrive off.

All it does it lower your current gear by one (like in mY SC400 it, downshifts to 3)

It does make for quicker acceleration without having to punch it and hope I hit the kick-down switch.

However, in normal driving, I cant imagien why anyone would ever want to use it, ESPECIALLY if your on the highway! in 4th gear w/ overdrive, you can cruise at 70 at roughly 2300 rpm...

Take overdrive off and your in 3rd at like 3300 rpms. WAY more gas being burned for not any real gain.
