Stripped head stud! HELP!
I am in the process of changing my head gasket, I managed to take pretty much everything off, except for one of the 12pt head studs that decided to strip while the rest came out fine, I seriously have no clue on how to sove this show stopper I was hoping you guys could shoot me some help
I have a hex that is the same size, but it gets stuck because the opening isn't big enough (not the head of the bolt, the area around it) so i'm going to see how I can get in there, I was thinking a drill bit with a reverse thread that they sell but I don't know since it's torqued real good in there
you can try this http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...ku=00952166000
OP any update?

Honestly I haven't tried, weather was pretty crappy today, I was going to try to get an allen key that fits in there, put it through the closed end of a wrench of the respective size, hammer the.allen key in the hole and hopefully getting it out, but i've read that there is kits for cases like these, I was gonna call a shop but idk what they would say
