Hey guys having a startup issue with the 2jzgte aristo swap in my 94 GS. Engine has usdm turbos, 550 injectors with resistor pack, usdm cams, SAFC2, bkr7e's at .028", a custom intake manifold with a q45 TB (still retaining IACV), 12v fuel pump mod, wideband, and other bolt ons.

When the car is cold, fires up on the first crank and idles perfect no problems at all. Drive it around for ten minutes , shut if down, it wont restart. It will crank and crank and crank will not fire. I have fuel and I have spark. A drop of starting fluid the car will fire right up and idle perfect and drive just fine.

I changed plugs and coolant temp sensor so far. I havent checked fuel pressure yet.

Anyone have any ideas as to why the car will start right up every time when the engine is cold but when its warm will NEVER start?

Cant wait to resolve this once and for all.

Have you tried a new ECU? Its an interesting problem. Only thing I could guess would be something to do with the throttle body. But I would say try a new ecu first

Thanks for the input. I havent tried a new ecu yet. Yeah i tohught maybe the q45 TB could be causing it? I checked supraforums for guys running the q45 TB with the stock ecu and safc and couldnt find any info.

funny i have a similar problem ..... my gte is pretty much stock ,.... besides a single conversion.... but ever since i installed the 550 cc injectors i have had a hard starting issue when warm it cranks for a while but will always eventually start and i could never figure out why this is !!! iam stumped

walbro 255 or tt 265lph cant remember which one i put in
