i also rcvd a recall fr lexus gs300 1996-1997 regarding their
front ball joints. need to bring to local dealer and have them check it out. thy will replace if any damage is discovered.
thy said it tends to come off while driving and when that happens,
front wheels will turn right or left or even the opposite of each other......sounds pretty dangerous to me!!!
so you guys out there with 1996-1997, have your car checkd out!!

old news...
The notice is old. It is dated 1999. Still, Lexus will fix the problem under the recall. The 1993-1995s had a recall for balljoints as well. My service history shows a replacement under recall in 1996.
