I am really interested in swapping my A350E (96-97) with an TT auto because ours just took a dump and a replacement is $800-1500 not including the torque converter. If I can swap it out and never deal with that dumb thing again I'd be pretty happy. Anyone know what is involved with swapping out the A350 with the older or TT A340 and what I would have to change??? If the ECU has to be changed to an older one, could I even do that since the '96 is OBD2? Emissions doesn't matter for me so don't go there, I don't get inspected.

has anyone tried to wire this is in on 2gs??? Im working on the 147gte swap at the moment and I am using the JDM 147 ecu. I feel like either my pinouts arent complete, or there are just wires that go nowhere. Anyone else ever do this?

very good thread.to bad I didn't read before my TT auto install in my 98 NA-T today.all I knew was to get a SC 400 driveshaft nothing about the flex plate.oh well you learn something new everyday.they should Sticky this!!!
