Another option is it just pull the gear on the non-motor side. i've had mine like this for over a year and no problem. just try not to put too much weight on the seat we\hen you move it.

Mine have the same problem and I currently have no parts to replace it. If you don't mind, can you be more specific on pulling the gear on the non-motor side? I would like to use this option for now since it's frustrated not able to move the seat back and forth. I will be on a trip within a week and planning to have my mom using my GS while I'm away. I want her to be able to adjust it rather than waiting till the last minute and then adjust manually with the 12' socket. Thanks

I've got the same problem with the stripped gear but cannot find another one (I blamed it on the wife). Does anybody make the gear or assembly? Lexus dealer wanted me to buy the whole seat for $650.00.

http://www.rushgears.com might be an option if anyone cannot find replacement gears, likely made out of more durable material.
