Default leak in car

Does anyone know if it isa common problem for the passenger side to leak in water when it rains? and if so, the solution? the weatherstriping looks good, sunroof isnt leaking. the passenger side carpet is wet and the backseat floor even gets a little puddle. i will prob change the carpet out but want to fix the problem first. any help appreciated. thanks

Make sure the sunroof drains are clear and also check under the front windshield molding for rust can leak there also

Did this solve the problem? i have a 98 GS400 and i have the same problem except i get a puddle of water on the drivers front and rear side. I don't see any water coming from the roof i see its wet from where the drivers door meets the dash. I checked sunroof drains and they are clear and i checked the weather stripping and it seems to in good condition with no cracks or anything.

Any ideas?
