courtesy light help please
I'm going to ask this on here, cause you guys have had more of the JZS147's around than us in Canada have for longer,
I somehow managed to short a ground on the courtesy light's in the footwell and the key ring, the ones that are on a timer.
my question is this:
does anyone know the location, part number, or where abouts of a relay/timer/ switch for the door pins that triggers the footwell/key ring light to stay lit for 10 seconds or so after closing the door?
is it built into the ECU? a little unit under the dash? anyone have ANY ideas?
i repeat, ANY help is appreciated,
Thank you
-Nick

no, i'm not that stupid man,
the couresty light is missing a ground, and there for causing my alarm/starter to not sense the one door that it's open, everything else, including the shock sensor, glass tap, RPS, all that **** works, it's just when my turbo timer is on and running, when i lock the doors it shuts the car off when it's suppose to keep running for 2 minutes
i've checked al lthe fuses using a visual test, a fuse tester, and a voltmeter all twice in each method
there is a little relay/ switch that switches the ground to connect/disconnect when the door is open/closed, hence why it stays lit for 10 seconds after you close the door, it has to do with the door pins
