Puddle lamps on 1st gen???

depending on the brand and where you mount them you may or may not see them. i'm in the middle of finishing mine up and housings are not visble. i placed them between the side skirt and the rail for the jack points so it's tucked away.

Are you using the mounting hardware?
I wanted to locate mine in the same place but its not a flat enough surface.
I used the mounting hardware and folded the metal as flat as possible so that it's less noticeable.

I have the same kit and have the problem where they show from the side. The only thing i though of was goin to Home Depot and get abotu an 1" wide weather stripping and line that to the lights so they still shine down but not the side.
