Ok man, I ordered a wilwood reverse swing pedal, but I have a problem. It is a dual cylinder and uses a balance bar. I could not find a single cylinder anywhere. I am going to have to heavily modify the pedal to get it to work.

You'll have to take pix when you get it. I was looking at the diagram and it looks like you could just make the ballance bar fixed so it doesnt pivot like this

Nope, that won't change anything. I will have to take a picture of the assembly.

There is a 1" bore at the top of the pedal that a thread rod goes through. The rod is only about 3/8" in diamter, with a master cyl linkage on each side which are also threaded onto the rod. There is a pivot in the center of the bore that the rod goes through. The only thing you can adjust is how far each master cyl linkages is from the center of the pedal, adjusting the leverage to each cylinder. If there is nothing to push on the opposite side of the bar, then there is no leverage at all. I could make a steel bushing to put into the bore the rod cannot pivot. This way I can modify it without cutting/welding.

I hope that makes sense.

any kinda write up / tips of what needed to be modified for the 5 spd.
I have a spare r154 on the floor. An Aristo... and the itch for 5 spd.

I don't like the idea of drilling a whole for the clutch peddle though

why is that such a bad thing. Almost all cars have a hole. Besides the master cyl has a rubber boot on it.

And on a side note, unless you get a soarer R154, you will have to lengthen the shifter housing like this:
