Default 94 GS300 spark plug and valve cover gasket replacement

Hey has anyone changed the valve cover gasket and spark plugs on a 1st gen GS? I think I have an idea of what to do but I don't want to start removing things blindly and mess something up. So can anyone give a quick ran down on what to do or what to look out for? Thanks much appreciated!

The hardest part is plugging the coolant line under the throttle body and removing the throttle body. Should be rather straight forward after that. Do you have the manual?

No I don't I've been looking for one but so far the ones I've seen are really expensive. And yea thats kinda what I thought also but just want to make sure so I don't mess anything up. Thnx for the info.

I can hook you up with an electronic PDF version of the manual if you want, just PM me and I can help you download it.

But yeah, pretty much you want to prevent getting coolant down in spark plug galley so after you remove the little center covers on the front and back you can stuff the center with some rags or paper towels, and after removing your intake and the nuts for the throttle body, you will be able to "slide" it on its three or four big studs, but you can't remove it unless that bottom coolant line is pulled off and plugged. Once that is done and your throttle body is out of the way, you should have some pretty good access to removing the valve covers and replacing the gaskets, along with the spark plugs and wires if need be.

Yes that would be perfect I've been going nuts without one for both my cars. Thanks I really appreciate it and the advice as well. I feel a bit more confident now to get started on it.
