Thanks for the information, I've been looking at Gs300 for a daily. I had no idea the swap was this easy!

Does the Aristo motorset have to be from the exact same year model to be PnP or are they all the same for the 1st gen chassis?

I know with Sc300, there are differences 92-94,95,96-97(obd2),98-00(vvti)

Thanks,
Ryan

haha Ryan i am thinking about going back to JZ147, any Aristo GTE will work as long as it's non VVTi. I shouldn't have sold mine.

Alright guys I have a question LoL I am set on doing the Aristo swap and I have been doing a bunch of reading but I have some small questions.

1. Can I re-use my 94 GS engine and tranny mounts ?
2. I dont understand what I need to make the drive shaft work properly ?
3. I am not buying a clip but just a swap does that mean I need a the Supra TT throttle cable ?
4. The Swap wont come with the stock intercooler so I can upgrade to w.e. I want correct ?

1) Yes, you can re-use your engine/tranny mounts. I made modified MKIV Supra mounts, but you can use stock.
2) Take the output flange of the GS300 transmission, put it on the Aristo, then bolt it back up like stock.
3) yes you need a Supra TT throttle cable (or one off a camry)
4) yep, whatever intercooler plumbing/intercooler you want.

Get the Throttle Cable from a 92 -94 Corolla it's an inch longer than the TT cable , the camry will fit but it's too long.
I measured them one time side by side

I have 95 toyota supra with a USDM 2jzgte, and im thinking about putting it in my 1994 gs300, but I dont think its a direct swap.

1) Will the usdm harness fit perfectly in the gs300, is it too long or short?
(has anyone bought a new supra harness at the dealer and tried it?)

2) Can I use the motor mounts on the 2jzgte or do I swapped them over from the 2jzge motor?

3)Does the engine bay harness match up to the supra one?
(if not does anyone have a wiring diagram of the engine bay harness and interior bay harness?)

4) Can I use a USDM Auto ECU, since I have the USDM harness already?

5) Does everybody doing the aristo swap use the NA transmission, or use the aristo one with the j3 stamp?
(can someone provide a link to different tailshaft assembly's for the g300)

5) Is there anything else, I am forgeting?

People have done it, so it does work.

use your stock mounts from the GE

No, but I don't have the pinouts, it'd be MUCH easier to use an Aristo harness and lengthen it. then it's completely plug and play.

The Aristo harness/ecu is better, it's already MAP based, etc. You would thank me if you sold the TT harness and ECU and bought an Aristo harness, and lengthened it, or paid to have someone else do it.

I'd be willing to help with that if you need it.

and I might be interested in the USDM supra harness/ecu
and I might have a line on the Aristo one.

nope, use the J3 transmission. Then simply swap out the output 3 bolt flange from your N/A trans to the turbo one and bolt your driveshaft up, no mods needed, and your speedo works perfectly 8-).

You need a different Radiator. I used a mishimoto from Ebay for like $150 for a MKIV Supra. and a camry throttle cable I got from the junkyard for $10.

(and banging out the firewall for stock twins, etc)

The problem is that, I am already maf sensor and would have to sell my usdm intake manifold. Then buy a jdm manifold with the IAT sensor because the usdm doent have the IAT sensor. And the fuel injectors are high impedance with a balancer. JDM are only 440cc injectors and low impedence and Id have to purchase the injectors w/rail, an aristo harness, and aristo ecu.

How do you guys upgrade the stock 440cc injectors since they are low impedence and most on the market are high impedence?

Are the j3 auto transmissions, wire type or cable type transmissions?

I already have the USDM supra TT radiator.

1)Will it fit?

2)I have the stock USDM twins, why do I have to bang out the firewall?

3)Dont the aristos have stock twins?

4)What causes the clearance issue?

You have that all backwards, the Aristo injectors are HIGH impedence. And it is EASY to swap injectors, you just add or remove an injector resistor pack, depending.

Um, they are electronicly controlled (no kick down cable, it's electric)

Then you're set.

yep

4)What causes the clearance issue?

is the supra tt auto tranny and aristo auto tranny are the same?

if i hook supra tt tranny to aristo motor/ecu... will it works properly? how about bolt up?

is supra tt and aristo auto tranny 5 or 4 speed?

i have the 96 gs300 and it 5 speed automatic, would it be good for aristo 2jzgte swap?

for front intercooler mouting, does it fit easily without removing stuffs? (p/s cooler line?.. a/c line?)

thank you

The supra TT trans and Aristo trans are the same INTERNALLY, (the driveshaft mount is different)
yes it bolts up, and the TT ECU will control either the Aristo TT trans, or the Supra TT trans
I wouldn't use the stock 96 transmission. I'd use the Aristo trans it's stronger
um, yes you can fit the intercooler stuffs, I went with a HUGH front mount, so I had to bend the A/C lines a little to make it fit, and gently move some stuff out from in the grille. A Normal ebay "kit" sized intecooler would fit easier, without much hassle.

what is the over all size of your intercooler?
you mount it behind or in front of re-inforcement bar? i check and i don't see alot of room for intercooler if it is 12" tall... seem like it. you have the picture of the i/c mount on your car that would like to share??
what is the max safe boost for completely stock aristo motor with intake and exhaust upgraded recommanded? what if i also upgrade to supra 550cc injectors, i have safc2, i don't know if it helps in increasing boost.
is that good to go with manual boost controller or electric boost controller??

thank you
