Default Anyone ever put 93-95 taillights on a 96-97 GS300?

just wondering....
i really cant tell if the diffrence is ONLY the center piece and a person would only need to change it OR if both taillights would have to be replaced?

i think most of us agree that the 96+ lights suck.
was just wondering if you could change them.

thanks in advance.

I believe a guy by his screen name lexus4jess or something like that has done it before. Don't see him on this forum anymore and I think he might be on the es300 forums. If you find him you might want to ask him for pics or do a search.

yes, many people do. the 93-95 look better. but you have to change the entire thing becase the 96-97 have whiter clear bottom lights.

But are the lights the same shape? and will they fit flush into the body?

Yeah, they shape never changed, just the style of the light itself. If you are planning on doing this, you already know that though. The 93-95 lights will fit the 96-97 body, no problem, its been done plenty of times.
