Hi Guys,

I have never changed the fog light bulb and since it is a h3 unlike the 9006, I would like to know whether I need to disconnect the battery in order to change the bulb.

Unlike the 9006 which can be disconnected the h3, seems totally different and I don't want to end up electricuting myself.

I didn't get shocked when I did my fog...so I would say No you don't have to disconnect it. It is however a b**** to get out!

 

There is a plastic piece just before the main connection, I will make sure i hold on to that.

 

The only way you could really get shocked from a 12volt setup is from an HID or sparkplug wire
