here's a question I can't fiind an answer to. Could I swap a climate control unit out of a 98-04 with my ugly fist gen unit? Has anyone tried this? I hate the look of my first gen unit and don't like how it doesn't seem to be visible at night except for the lights above the dials .

 

I'm looking to do the same thing, however, it's no "swap", plugs are different and wiring as well. If I find a cheap one and it works out, I'll keep you posted.

 

I only used the word swap because transplant seemed too long as a title. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do this now because of the other issues I have going on I guess its not a priority but I'm going to research it a little more
