What's up CL!! I've been dealing with this cracking noise coming from my driver door when it opens, and i don't think i can take any longer! Once the door opens to the first postion it makes a click/cracking noise, and the same noise again when the door is open fully. I think it's coming from the middle black door hinge?? How to fix it is another problem.

It's getting warm again in the ATL, and it's modification time for the GS!! I've had the car for two years and i've only installed an aftermarket radio. I'm just trying to catch up to the rest of you guys. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Take off the black cover and swing the door back and forth and check to see if the hinge that is bolted to the car is moving ..If it is tighten the screws that hold it to the car and buy some silicone spray or Toyota white grease and spray the hinge..This should help..
