Default cd changer question

hi im new here, i've had my 93 gs for about 2 months now and i love it. my only problem is my cd changer is dead. i want to know if i can replace it w/ an aftermarket changer, or do i have to use the lexus one?

With an adapter or new cable you can use a pioneer changer. Contact PIONEERSUBY on lexusownersclub.com he seems to be the one to talk to and he can get you whatever you need.

I was told 1200 for a new changer (with install, parts, etc.) from lexus!! mine got bumped around and am tryin to figure out what to do about insurance...but i guess i have bigger fish to fry than just the changer..
