I'm using Intrax with KYB shocks. Ride is good. No problems except for camber/uneven tire wear. But that comes with any lowering.

Default 1st Generation with 17's

Here is a pic when I had the 17's on my 95, just eibachs no spacers, but they since been put on my 2001, but my 95 did look damn good with them, maybe thats why I can't sell the thing.......but I might have to keep it and put the wheels back on it when I get the 20's for my new GS.....

For those running spacers: are there any detrimental effects from this?? Like increased stress on suspension components?
And you're only running spacers on the rear as I had previously read, correct??

I bought a set of 2nd gen wheels from a couple of guys on here, but have yet to mount them.

Hey, im new here. I've got a first gen with IS300 17" wheels, and no spacers. I'm planning on doing a lot of work around christmas time, and a nice spring/strut set up with some spacers is in the mix. Heres how it looks now...

Welcome to the club! Your car looks really clean Do you have any more pics of your car? I'm wondering how the IS300 rims fill up the wheel-wells.

As far as mods go, my rotors are warped beyond all hell so I think im going to upgrade to a nice set of cross drilled/slotted rotors, maybe some new calipers if i can afford them, and then obviously some nice pads.. I would like to get the Eibach pro-kit tahts available for this car, but I'm undecided on what type of shocks/struts to get(any suggestions?). I need to go ahead and buy a set of IS300 center caps also. Clear corners are a must with the silver, the yellow/orange throws it all off, so I'd like to do that also.

Here is the only other pic i have, and the IS300 wheels dont fill up the wheel well very well, but, I only got the car in may when i turned 16, and they are deff. the best bang for your buck, only costing $450 with tires (even though they're kumho's )

Quick tire question why would you want spacers? I see you don't have spacers do you have any issues?

You don't need spacers. Spacers are to make the wheels more flush with the top of the fender. (Less "sunk in")
