I called Jic and they said that the SF1's were basically the next best thing next to springs. They can be adjusted height wise, but not too much. It will eventually wear out the shock/dampeners and will bottom out. Also that these will be discontinued because they are old coilovers which aren't as advanced as the JFLTA2's.

why buy new ones while you still hv yr eibachs?
spend it on something else....dont drop yr car anymore....but if you do, make sure it does not rub the inner fenders.....otherwise, let's take out a "bat"...and roll 'em!!!...hehhe |

Originally posted by LexAristo I actually called JIC and they said the sf1's are not to be set really low as the dampeners/shocks would wear out easily. They would bottom out. Eibachs aren't low enough. I still have a 3 finger gap. I'm goin to go with either the JIC FLTA2's or the Tein CS. |
Yeah man. Go all the way and get the FLTA-2s. Take it to the track and out-corner cars that weigh half as much as the 1st gen.

...
My friend is running the SF1's on his Q45...I have another friend who runs the FLT A2's on his SC. Go for the FLT's - way more adjustability ...and like you said the SF1's are getting discontinued anyways
