I had mines for a good 3 years still does its job like out the box fresh. I got the smaller one which I use for my civic but once awhile i use it for my GS and there's no problem with it since.

I've had one for about 5 years now. Used it on my Teg first, then bought an '06 BMW, worked on that and now I have the SC for about a year and it works fine, except, It only goes as low as the pressure will allow it. In other words, when you go to drop the car, the jack will only go down as far as the amount of pressure you put on it. After that, you have to push it the rest of the way by hand to get it from under your car. Other than that, it works great.

Mr. Klean 02-16-10 10:26 AM

Oh, thanks for the ad and coupon.

genetic 02-16-10 12:45 PM

Yes thank you for the coupon, I already have this jack. It works really great, had it for about 6 years now.

vwynn 02-16-10 03:57 PM

Hmm i might have to buy :]

2JZGTE-SC 02-16-10 04:20 PM

I have one of these as well...had mine over 6 years now...and I use it alot, it holds up very well...and that is not the case with much stuff HF sells, i would know, i used to work there and if you seen the amount of stuff thats gets returned broke you'd be shocked

Jasbmo 02-16-10 06:53 PM

will this hold up my '98 LS400? the weight (according to MSN Autos) is 3890 lbs

thanks!!!

GSteg 02-16-10 06:54 PM

It should be able to lift the LS400. You're only lifting one end of the car, not the whole thing.

Hil 02-16-10 07:33 PM

Cool, doesn't sound so bad anymore lol

Dude you're one of the people who told me this jack sucks haha

5t341th 02-16-10 09:13 PM

i had this for a while. works well. i rather pay 100 more and get the Rapid pump one.
its more sturdy and pumps up quickly. also it feels more quality

Alexis-LS 02-16-10 09:52 PM

I had this for couple of years too. So far so good. No problem lifting up one side (2 wheels) of my 3200 lbs project car. And by the way, I don't think they let you use 2 coupons on the same item.

carbongs 02-16-10 11:04 PM

yeah i have 2 of these. have had them for about 4 years. no problems easy

Picked up the 2-ton engine hoist last night for $160 OTD. Worked like a champ  Hopefully it lasts.

JAM,

You should be straight with lifting the LS. BUT, you should ALWAYS secure the whip with jack stands while using the jack. I used it to lift my 2000 Integra GSR, an '04 Lexus GS300, a '97 SC300 and an '04 Acura TL. Still working like a champ.

XxGoKoUxX 02-19-10 11:33 PM

harbor freight, if you hassle them enough, will replace ANYTHING u give to them that they have on the rack, i know because my stepfather's gotten 2-year old rechargable batteries replaced by them, and jack stands, drills, grinders, etc etc.

Jasbmo 02-21-10 03:29 PM

just got this last night, im very happy with it for now! also picked up a torque wrench.

kit cat 02-23-10 08:05 AM

I let my idiot roommate borrow it not even a week after I bought it and he somehow broke it (fluid started leaking).

But I might have to buy this again. Great light jack for sure.

SoloKaMGS 02-23-10 06:39 PM

got one use it daily :)

sam430 03-03-10 11:54 AM

tempting... my current lopro jack takes forever to lift and height is not so high.

Spyder78 03-03-10 08:22 PM

been using it for about a year, no problems, broke the stock jack so this is always in my trunk.

Vincent123 03-03-10 11:02 PM

same idea i had, gonna keep one in the trunk at all times

swat1727 03-07-10 01:55 AM

i just came back from the store today. i didnt buy that particular model, since i can't use the 20% off coupon. but i bought the 79 low profile 4000 pound jack. it's bigger and looks safter plus i was able to use the 20% off coupon so i ended up paying the same price for a much better jack.

Vincent123 03-07-10 01:52 PM

yeah, they wouldnt let me use the 2 coupons together shown on the 1st page

madmax98 03-10-10 07:40 AM

t70 supra 03-14-10 09:07 PM

happen to have the receipt or model number? I may have to upgrade my low pro jack since it doesn't lift the car high enough.

knguyen 03-26-10 11:10 PM

thanks for the coupon, just got mine today.

RedPhoenix 03-31-10 05:07 PM

Dealt with a few, I like them.

2 of the smaller blue ones over 1-2years each
1 of the larger silver ones... about 2 years.

All with A LOT of use.

LexusFTW 06-08-10 11:17 AM

bump this to the top. Thanks for the link :)

kenny_el 08-10-10 12:14 AM

KrazeMatik 08-17-10 10:51 PM

i was going to buy this today but i end up buying the orange one, 2 ton 4000lb jack, the one i bought is alot more lower profile, because my car is lowered with a kit, and it works great

MrG4Life 09-15-10 07:44 PM

Always been hesitant to get this since I've heard mixed reviews. Actually more negative than positive.

Infamous 1 09-16-10 05:55 AM

I have one and love it. No problems at all!

Do you have a model number? the one op listed is not gonna work with me. I need something lower and longer.

sc400 09-17-10 12:54 PM

I really like these racing aluminum jacks but decided not to get them because I want one that also works for the SUV.

I researched a bit on their site. The orange one is reasonably priced and gets really good review. I was leaning to get it until I took at it. It's a HUGE jack. There is no ways it's going to fit in my two-car garage
