I rented a car for 4 days with the coupon and it worked when I went and picked up the car at the counter. Although the service rep asked me who worked for Hertz...I made up a name and the location where he worked. I believe she asked me out of curiosity vs. checking in a system to see if that person is real, because if she did, she would have noticed it was a made up name. Whewwwww

I just got back from turning in a Town Car I had for the day while my GS was in the shop. I wasn't asked any questions until I turned the car in. The clerk asked if I had a relative who worked at Hertz. I said my cousin in Louisville did. He asked if I had a discount card and I just looked at him like he was from Mars and said I don't know anything about a card and that my cousin set up the res. he said there was supposed to be a card but that it was okay.
Saved over $30 on the one day rental.

Well I didn't have the kiosk or the family card, so I got raped. I argued with the gen manager and even called corp. They all said with out the card u are ****ed. I pre-rented a infinity m35 with navi and ended up getting a mercury suv for $100 more...lol. It was worth the try though

Does anybody know how the kiosk work? Can you give your experience how the kiosk works? Do you still have to go to the counter. Ill be leaving for my trip in a couple days.

Hey guys! Sorry didn't get a chance to update earlier. But it worked like a charm. I use the code for 40% off and a free day. My full size car for labor day weekend should've came out to $178.XX and I paid only $74.35 for three full days. Over $100 saved. Thanks again!

FYI- I used the kiosk so no questions was asked about a family member name.

All you do is like checking in flight. Just use any of your credit cards at the kiosk (computer machine) and just keep clicking yes till end. Spit out a reciept and where your car rental is parked and off you go.

Wish me luck I'm landing in Ft. Lauderdale tommorow and plan to use the kiosk. I reserved a backup with Avis just in case though lol. I actually need to extend it one more day but I'll wait til after I pick up the car and figure that out.

use the kiosk. i tried to pick mine up at the store and they were asking me all sorts of questions and an employee card. i only got 10% off after a battle with them.
