quick question, I know its sold, but is the black a primer coat or is the item actually black? Do you have pics of actual splitter? Thanks a lot

 

It's actually a glossy black and can be installed right out of the box for many people. I would still paint it because the sides are kinda rough. I'd sand them to be smoother then paint over everything. But I can see some people who aren't **** installing it without doing anything.
