I couldn't practically afford it drifter. It's worth more than I can put into it given the going rates on the new classics. ......and given what I know it is capable of, it'll pull some nice change to someone who's techy and wants to put it on the grinder. It's practically a Mac once you crack it open and load the goods.

Well my buddy has a 30GB Ipod Video that has a basically destroyed screen and wheel, but the harddrive is intact. Would you possibly be interested in that?

Well it would be a shot in the dark. He said it worked prior, but even if we plug it in now, theres no way for us to tell if it charges or such. If you can figure out a way for us to test it to see if its working, then we'll be more than happy to try.

It will but you will have to run Rockbox on it. http://www.rockbox.org/

5g drives to 4g drives has a firmware conflict. I've done it, and have all the PDFs if you wanna take a crack at it.

Ok my buddy just plugged it in and says the screen lights up, what part of it can that is, and that it turns on. So the harddrive is ok. Battery should be fine too.

I'm somewhat familiar with Rockbox as I have it on my iRiver H320. OLDSCHOOL MP3 FTW LOL.

Let me know how much you're willing to offer him for it Brian.
