Well it would be a shot in the dark. He said it worked prior, but even if we plug it in now, theres no way for us to tell if it charges or such. If you can figure out a way for us to test it to see if its working, then we'll be more than happy to try.
5g drives to 4g drives has a firmware conflict. I've done it, and have all the PDFs if you wanna take a crack at it.
Ok my buddy just plugged it in and says the screen lights up, what part of it can that is, and that it turns on. So the harddrive is ok. Battery should be fine too.
I'm somewhat familiar with Rockbox as I have it on my iRiver H320. OLDSCHOOL MP3 FTW LOL.
