Over the few months I was contemplating on a good portrait lens, I thought the 85mm was the way to go. However, after much debate and research I found the best portrait lens is....
EF 300mm F/2.8 L IS USM
With such a big investment, the 85 1.8 will absolutely be useless. Well, its useless to me now, because It has only been on my camera twice. Yes, the lens is so new you can eat off it.
