For sale: Car Chip EX module with software, and cable to computer.

Plug this chip into any OBDII port (96 and above it says, and on my 2000 GS the port is under the steering column) and the device will capture all kinds of data from the engine (including sensor and trouble codes) and vehicle automatically. Tracks speed, acceleration, braking, distance, etc.

You can then offload the data to your PC with the included serial cable and software and graph it or analyze it other ways.

You can have the device record 4 out of 23 available parameters recorded every 5 to 60 seconds. You can record about 300 hours of data.

I used it to see max speed, rpms, max acceleration, deceleration, distance, etc. on several trips.

I could also review how someone ELSE drove the car when I couldn't see it (like a service shop!).

This is a cool device but I've learned all I need to know about my GS from it and wanted to see if someone else wants it.

I think I paid $170 for it.

obd2 was from 96-2000. I don't think it'll work.

for posterity's sake, even though i asked the question nearly 5 years ago lol, the '95 LS400 is OBDII.
