we custom cut crash bar to facilitate the proper mounting height of the intercooler

What standalone did you use?413whp with stock bottom end not bad at all.

folks i want to show you that even under all motor power (meaning no turbo on this motor) how delicate vvti pistons are .. there must be very very careful attention to details and tuning ..

check out these pictures .. this was from a stock is300 that i did a 1 day engine swap on last month .. customers daughter drove the car for a short distance while it overheated , thats it ..



and heres a good piston sitting next to the melted one






just goes to show that full standalone at any power level is important and a very compentent tuner is the key to perserving your investment
