After leaving work last night I stopped at a Friends house for awile and 15 minutes later I hear my alarm go off. I go outside and I see that my back window is shattered...WTF?? No one was there or nothing hit it...just a big hole in the back of the car

I need to get this fixed ASAP and I want to know how or where to go to get this fixed?? Any help would be appreciated b/c I never fixed a rear window and I dont know anything about this sort of stuff......

Yo I had this same problem about 2 years back. I made the assumption my rear window defroster didnt turn off and overheated the glass plus the cold rain kaboom

I know Super weird..I looked out the window first since I parked in front of his room lol! When I looked out nothing..so that rules out a attempeted break in

I wonder if the defroster is not ran off ignition though and stayed on? Just my speculation maybe someone can comment on that. But I got mine fixed at a place called "atlas auto glass" they are on 441 in between pembroke road and washington street.

Default OEM glass for SC's

Just in case you havent replaced the window yet.

Try calling "El Chamo Auto Glass".
305-633-6248
I had to replace the passenger window on my 1999 SC 300.
The dealer was charging $336.00 for the window alone.
Charlies Auto Glass was charging $650.00 for the window and installation.
I went to El Chamo Auto Glass - they charged me $210.00 installed. Yes it is a Toyota OEM passenger window

They are in Miami off of 27th and 54th. It's not in the best area... but it's a job that can be done on the spot - so your car won't be there over night.

Thanks guys, I called about 15 places and got prices from $250-$900

In the end I fixed it with the guy Danny told me about for less than all of those prices and it is a OEM Window, thanks man

For others that come in this thread in the future the exact same thing happened to my friend Brookes IS250. No one put anything through it either.
