So I have the week off and I am using that time to install the PT6265 finally. I know right off the bat I'm either going to need a 2.5, 90 degree, to 3in coupler or get the compressor housing chopped and welded. Anybody know somebody that can do that quickly and local to the Broward area?

I don't think that coupler is going to be very common off the shelf.

I'm going to spend tomorrow clearing out the garage (1 car) and going to pick up a new pop-up tent because this wonderful ****ing Florida weather is going to rain EVERY DAY of my vacation

If anybody wanted to come by and lend a hand who's done the single swap before, that's cool too

Never done them... sorry!!!

That is going to be fun. I bought mine from Gary and had Kiko weld it on.
If Kiko is not available then give Big Daddy a call and hell do it. If you need the numbers to these 3 let me know and i will shoot you an email .

i found a 90degree coupler laying around and i have another 2.5 to 3in coupler as well. I might just rig it that way so i can get driving. Then take it to the welder with the turbo installed that way I don't goof the angle.

I just spent the last 4 hours cleaning up the garage so I can park the car inside again. Still going to grab a tent though...gotta have something to keep the cooler out of the sun

after a leisurely 4 hours of hell, twins are on the floor. They seem to be in OK shape, no shaft play actually! They are JDM twins and if you come pick them up they are yours free...

You can see a little mark on the firewall to the right of the a/c line, looks kinda like a grey speck. The stock twins would NOT come off the studs as the 2nd turbo inlet was hitting the firewall and there was no way to get a wrench on to remove it. Took off the bolt from the pass. motor mount andwith a pry bar and and a good shove popped out.

Nope. I just needed something to plug those for themoment as the hose that was on there was OEM, old and leaky even with a clamp on it. So I just grabbed some -6 hose sitting on the bench and looped it.

I'll probably be working on the car all day today if anybody wanted to swing by and lend a hand. Address is:

5408 Cleveland St
Hollywood, FL 33021
(954) 376-0015

Only time I probably won't be here is if I leave for food, drinks or to pickup heater hose lines...

Dre,

Does your manifold require grinding of the studs like the Boost Logic kit did?

NO Sir..! Nada, zero....
What you want to do it catch all the bolts first. Mainly becuase the ones under runner #2 and #6 will give a hard time if it's up against the head.
