Where you guys planning on all driving down together or just meeting down there? Are you going to drive the regular route to the keys or the Card Sound Rd "detour".

When I've been driving down to Islamorada as of late, I have been taking US1 straight (and they are improving US1 with every passing day). Card Sound Road used to be the way to go maybe 15-20 years ago and now I'd only go that way if I wanted to go to Alabama Jacks, http://www.alabamajacks.com/
