im glad you posted that.. that only emphasizes what i said.
i say this not to poke fun at shawns incrediable car and we are good friends but his car is lightly modded for SHOW... body kit, wheels, suspension, system is not a overally modified car. typically all VIP stlye cars will fit in this category.
this goes to show why adrian's gs will prob be in performance and why paul tolson's gs400 will be ULtimate.
yeah the ULTIMATE text thing is picked by a sponsor and really doesnt help that much.. i think maybe up to 10 points for OVERALL BOS... shawn is only gonna score about half of what paul ireson's mini will score because its crazy

Looks like I joined the RIGHT car club, Jinsoku took some hardware !
BTW I don't think its fair to have a multi-Million dollar Vendor like Blvd Customs with their SEMA built GLK to compete with the average Joe.

Congrats to all!
Congratulations to all members of CL and all teams that participated at HIN Tampa!
I didn't get a chance to come check it out or compete, due to work and adding new modifications to my vehicle. I've had the oppurtunity to participate in a few shows over the past year and decided to take the year off, to really bring my car up to competition standards.We all want to be acknowledged about our accomplishments with our cars, but unfortunately in this arena, only a few are chosen? The end results can leave some frustrated, confused, and disappointed!
It's the nature of the business and we must not get so wrapped up in the competition of it all. We all should stay focused and remember why we build our cars.... for our own pleasure!
Let's keep a positive state of mind and continue to build friendships as we build our masterpieces. Congratulations to all of you who took the time to display your vehicles. You all are winners!

It's gonna be awhile, due to lack of funds! It's really nothing special, just a clean modded GS!
I'm hoping to have it completed before the year ends, so I can get back in the game next show season?

HIN automotive: some cars were bumped up due to competition quality

HIN automotive: text voting is controlled by the NG. they basically pick some cars that they feel will have fan love and voting. it normally counts as 5 bonus points
