Most golfers know of Brooksville for famous "World Woods"...a must play destination. Top notch golf on two courses; one is sand base called Pine Barrens and the other is dirt base called Rolling Oaks, two completely different styles of golf. The practice area is like no other I've ever seen.

I was also born and raised in Florida. I came to know of Brookesville for it's Prison. I have yet to visit.

ok I just google map'd it. It right north of tampa area. Doesnt look too bad except its in no mans land. Meaning not that close to tampa, not that close to ocala or orlando.
