Just received a voice mail from a neighbor and fellow CL member of my condo complex (near the Maitland/Altamonte Springs city line) who informed me that HIDs of a black Acura TL and a turbo black IS300 were stolen a few nights ago. It probably occurred sometime between 11PM and 7AM. The intercooler of the IS was also taken.

So fellow members, just be on the lookout for your cars and your neighbors' cars as well. HIDs are still a hot ticket for car vandals these days

This sucks, I cant believe they took his intercooler too. Any body damage from taking the headlights out?

 

i park mine in the garage. and a big WOW for getting the intercooler...

 

I was informed by my friend that the front part was peeled off like a sardine can. Damage was horrible to look at, I've been told...

damn, how do you take the HID? the whole headlight? bulb and balast?
and intercooler... wow..

 

prybar. 2 tabs on each headlight. snap. snap. if they got the bumper partly off from the headlight they probably went in from there to get the IC and bov.... amazing how they get better with time.... how do i know this? weve had quite a few IS's towed into the dealer.
