TT Ecu Mod- Injectors?

Hello! First of all I would like to say that I HAVE used the search tool and could not find answers. I am doing a TT supra ECU mod on my 1995 lexus sc300 and was wondering where I should source 440cc injectors? I've already spoke with oside tiger and they no longer stock the injectors that everyone used for this mod many years ago.... I know I'm looking for; High ohms, 11mm (denso) style, 440cc injectors. Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me if the ecu looks bad or not, I don�t really see any major leaking besides I a little bit of stuff by the capicarors but can�t tell if it�s a leak or not, thanks.

I rarely have a wrench in my hand, mostly steering wheels. I drive the West with my SC400 and take photos, a lot of photos! So I only can share the photos with this SC forum. Here are some of my car, known here as (The Purple Bullet)
The car has been my daily driver for well over 20 yrs. Has never on its own been a problem, Just do the regular maintenance and drive it hard. Got back from a 1000 mile drive this week. Its mostly original from Japan, It also is a factory original hardtop

I do have to give the cars ECU a shout out (and really everything about the car). I regularly drive it from sea level to 7000 ft and more. The car has never given me a hiccup or any sort of glitch, just runs and runs

I should have included this:
I took the ECU out of the car about a year ago and sent it off to Tanin. It's the only mechanical thing I've ever done to the car, Just because I thought it was time. They sent it back promptly with the diagnosis, checked it out, cleaned it up a bit, stated that it was working fine. But they dinged me for a slight dent on my outside cover. They sent it back and proceeded to charge me full price, which was OK with me. Just amazed me a 1992 ECU could still be working so well in 2026 ........ Working well today :)

Sc300 ecu/spark plug issues

Recently i got a high mileage sc300 and it has been producing lots of white smoke from the exhaust, as well as a strong smell of gas. I've searched around and saw lots of people with similar symptoms due to a bad ecu. Should I check out the ecu first or check my spark plugs (which were just replaced) for signs of any leaks or other clues?

Sc300 iacv fix/plug help

Anyone know how to fix a leaking power steering iacv on a sc300? I believe that it is causing my power steering to leak into my intake which is produce constant thick clouds of white smoke that don't go away and smell like gas. I've seen other people with this issues but have yet to find someone post a way to fix it. I found a video on how to fix it for a sc400 but don't know if it the same for the sc300 since the hoses are in different spots. Any help is appreciated , thanks.

Not 100% about scissor gear timing

Hi guys

I�m chasing problems and gone back to timing i pulled back to the scissor gears and i think it�s a tooth out, my pvc bank is very dirty and i am getting oil in my throttle body, getting a code 13 from ecu (have checked cam and crack sensors) and found this on my scissor is this out of time? (I�m satisfied with the unmarked cam, right side. not so sure about the left side.)

any enlightenment would be great thanks.

1994 SC400 resale value

Hi Everyone! I have a 1994 SC 400 with 71K miles on it. New Tires, New battery, runs great! Replaced flasher - all lights working-even dashboard red light. Only thing not working is AC. Interior is good, exterior paint on roof has oxidized. No accidents. I have all maintainence records. What is a fair price to ask? Thanks

Cant get it it running properly

Hello,

I picked up a high-km 1991 Toyota Soarer with a 1UZ-FE that was not running properly. When I first got the car, it would start and run for about 4 seconds, then die completely.

I noticed leaking capacitors inside the ECU/ECM, so I sent it away to be recapped. That partly fixed the issue � the engine no longer immediately dies, but instead it now tries to stall, then revs itself and �catches� again to stay alive.

Thinking it may have been an IACV issue, I rebuilt the IACV, but it made no difference. I also replaced various rubber hoses/seals to rule out vacuum leaks, again with no improvement.

I then suspected ignition issues, so I replaced the coils and ignition leads, but that also changed nothing. After that, I cleaned and checked the cam and crank sensors. This actually did improve the way it ran and reduced the severity of the fluctuation, but the engine is still running poorly.

I have finally managed to pull fault codes from the ECU and it is throwing Code 13.

I also noticed the inside of the throttle body is covered in oil (photo attached), and whenever the engine is running there is a very strong fuel smell. Today I removed the rocker covers to inspect the cam gear/scissor gears � one side appears fine, although I did not get time to inspect the other side.

I also checked the oil level and noticed the oil smells strongly of fuel, so I immediately stopped running the engine.

At this point I honestly have no idea where to go next. Every diagnostic step seems to lead to another dead end.

Sc300 light gray smoke

I recently acquired a 1992 manual sc300 with 193000 miles, it drove home fine with no issues but now a day later it is making rough sounds on startup as well as producing a constant stream of light gray smoke from the exhaust. I was wondering has had similar experiences or knows what the most likely issue/issues might be? I have attached a sound recording of a cold start as well as a short video of the smoke. Also I dont know if it matters but it was my first time driving manual when I drove the car home so I might've been a little more rough on it than usual.

Lower Control Arm help

To keep things simple, I have a 94 SC400 at 76k miles with almost all stock suspension and steering components(aside from coilovers), bushings are getting old and ive been looking for LCAs for a while now, I dont fully want drift arms as I daily my car, but cant exactly find oe or anything equivalent. And suggestions are appreciated!

Back on the search for authentic JIC magic aero especially the front bumper! if I can't find that I am also searching for 97+ front bumper lips. 97+ Vertex front lip, Bigwin Type 1/2, Jic magic front lip, even if you have a rep front fiberglass front lip that's aggressive and fits alright I may consider NO KBD located in 92154, San Diego, California let me know what y'all got. cash in hand.

Replacement 1995 SC300 driver side tail light assembly

I have a 1995 Lexus SC300. I recently bought what I thought was a compatible tail light assembly from an eBay seller (some fool cracked mine). But even though it had the same part number, this tail light assembly didn't fit. The bolts on the right side (especially the lower right one wouldn't align with the hole (see attached pictures). And believe me I tried (the left side bolts lined up perfectly). Has anyone had a similar issue? Any suggestions?

SC400 mode select/plenum not working

'95 SC400 plenum is not switching between modes. All the air is coming through the dash vents. I haven't driven the car in three weeks and I believe it was working prior to that. At any rate, it's not working now. I realize it could be due to either a vacuum leak or an electrical problem. I was hoping some of the members here might have some suggestions to help me narrow it down.

1997 SC400 Manual Swap Reverse Lights and Neutral Safety

Hello all, I am doing a W58 tripod swap on my 97 SC400 and I wanted to so if anyone had any wiring info for the reverse lights and neutral safety switch. In all the videos/guides/etc. I�ve seen on the process the neutral safety is black with black/white and the reverse lights are red and yellow wires. I�ve also seen people say red and blue for reverse. My colors on my plug are different from the ones I�ve seen on different posts or in videos, so i was just wondering if anyone here knew the correct wires for reverse lights and neutral safety for a 97 SC400. I�m assuming they might be different between years, or maybe because of OBD2 after 96? Please let me know thanks!!

Brake Caliper Fitment

I know there is tons of information on this on here, but after thumbing through every page I could find, I'm even more confused. 1993 SC400, my front left caliper has broken at the bleeder screw neck. Screw is fine but the actual housing/threads at the neck have snapped off. No one has a rebuild of this front left caliper (can find every other side of course, just not this one) and I am dead in the water. I know I can get the 95 LS400 brakes, but I have already purchased pads and rotors to match my SC400 calipers and I am not quite ready monetarily for the LS big brake upgrade at the moment. So I guess my question is, are there any calipers that are easier to find that can fit with little modifcation to just get me rolling for the moment? If anyone has had a similar situation on their SC400 and know what calipers can be substituted? Any help is appreciated I am desperate. Thanks all!
