Illuminated door sills install

I need some help as I failed to install the illuminated door sills on 2026 RZ 350e. Bought these OEM illuminated door sills. These come with one male to male adapter. One side plug into door sill harness and other side does into the harness which I found under the quarter panel trim right by the door sill. This adapter controls puddle lights and other some other connections. Any how when I plug this into the adapter for door sills, my door sill light don't turn on. My interior lights are set to door. I tried both sides and none of them work. Any insight / piece of advice ...... What potentially I am doing wrong or may be missing be missing something

Annoying Lexus app "security alerts"

Lexus app is the only automotive application that demands that I add passcode/PIN to my personal phone.
I have one of those on my work phone, but have ZERO interest in adding those to personal devices that may be used to access Lexus app.
I also don't see the point of Lexus attempting to dictate my personal phone security practices. No other OEM's app (or even banking apps) attemp such over-reach.

If Toyota/Lexus is monitoring this - please stop this nonsense and make it go away!

Brighter inside cargo area tailgate LED light?

Is there an aftermarket brighter LED inside the liftgate light available? The one that is mounted now, on the inside of the liftgate on my 2026 RX350h is quite dim. Thanks.
