Came to say how much I love my new-to-me 2025 RX 500h in Incognito Black Line Edn. Apparently there were only 500 of these made! How lucky am I! I've only had it since 2/17/26.

Question -- the car was obviously empty when I bought it (from BMW) but there was this scent... it came through the vents. It is NOT new car smell -- it's indescribable... anyway, I brought it to Lexus for a 10k oil change (not realizing this was just performed on the vehicle at BMW to prep for sale) and now the scent is gone.

I called the BMW dealer as well as the Lexus where the car was originally sold and they completely brushed me off like it was just "the smell of the new car".

Anyone else experienced this or have insight? It was definitely a filter scent or now they even sell these things at AutoZone that you affix onto the filter itself (none of these are the previous scent).
