2020 ES UL Seats too hard

Hey everyone, I have a 2020 ES UL, but the driver's seat feels incredibly stiff. It's gotten to the point where my left leg hurts and feels really uncomfortable after driving.

Has anyone taken their car to an upholstery shop to add custom foam padding? Or is there a specific cushion you recommend? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I've been hunting for my perfect spec 300h with Ultra Luxury. As you probably know these are exceedingly rare, except for at one location: Carvana. It seems like almost every single ultra luxury model I've come across is only on Carvana. What's almost as frustrating is that almost every one of those is "in the process of being purchased by someone else." So my question is, why? Is Carvana offering UL owners just a lot better price than traditional dealers or other 3rd parties? Second, am I overreacting? I always imagined buying CPO from a Lexus dealership, but maybe Carvana isn't as bad as it seems?

Windshield tint

Has anyone with a 2023 ES or newer tinted their windshield successfully? I only ask because I had planned on tinting my windshield of my new ES when I get it, but in reading the manual, they suggest that you don't due to the safety sensors in the windshield. I'm just wondering if anybody has successfully done it or if they haven't done it due to that very issue? Thank you in advance.

USB-C Power Point

Has anyone in here run a power tap to a USB-C connection on their dash? Now that the Ottocast is in and working, I would prefer the phone to be on a charger that works and is easily accessible. Thinking of placing my mount as shown and running a port where the red rectangle is, or possibly putting a small hole in the vent duct and bringing the wire out the vent.

And no, not worried about it looking goofy and affecting resale value. I drive my cars to 200,000+ miles and am a former electronics installer, so it will look professionally done. More needing any tips there may be for where to actually connect the 12V to 5V converter for the port.

Got a 2022 UL
300h

like an dummy I changed my battery today myself and a few cuts and blood on my hands and went straight to the inspection and I fail ..
Guess everything was reset it
(so after that I was reading why that happened and why I fail which I felt like an idiot)
also not driving for a while which lead to a dead battery with 7k on the cluster after. 4 years of ownership)
still under warranty but I think spending that money for the BS I gonna deal with at the dealership is priceless 4 year warranty AGM battery
this is not the Mercedes Benz I own which I can deal with the wait cause the prices for these things is ridiculous omg
so I have 10 days to get it done and what should I do to pass . The shop told me drive it 35 miles city and highway..
So should I keep driving this car daily for 8 days and return to the shop.
cause he told me that he would scan it next time before I do the inspection to see if the computer was ready..!

Qi Charger in 2020 ES 300h

Now that my Ottocast has arrived, I have gotten it working and tried to use the Qi charger in the console for my iPhone. Kind of a mixed bag as the moment it slides a little, the charge connection breaks.

Anyone using it with good success?

How long did your factory tires last you?

I have a 2024 ES w 31,000 miles on it, purchased around October 2023. I've had 2 separate side-wall tears requiring tire replacements in the past few months. Debating if I need to also replace the other 2 tires so they wear evenly. F Sport Handling w Michelin MXM4 tires. When did you need to start replacing tires?

Seat Warmers Hot as Heck

Does anyone else notice the seat warmers on the ES 350 are hot as hell. Even on the lowest setting, I am finding it pretty toasty requiring me to turn it off. Is it just me or am I going crazy?

My Car Play Messages broke under iOS 26

I updated iOS from 16 to 26 purely because the iPhone Lexus App stopped supporting it but now my Car Play using messages went BERSERK
Switching back to an older phone with iOS 16 fixes the problem.
Voice commands thru Siri work fine under iOS 26 like "Hey Siri, read messages from XXX" or "Hey Siri, send a message to XXX" work.
But every time I use the car's touch screen to select a message, it goes into this endless loop saying either or both of these: "It says, It says, It says, ...." or "What do you want to, What do you want to ...."
Another clue: I cannot start a voice recording with the iOS 26 phone when it's listening to car play. The iphone immediately terminates the recording as soon as the message on the Lexus touch screen starts playing. I had to use my iOS 16 phone to record this problem.

Here is a clip recorded using my iOS 16 phone as soon as I select a message on the car's touch screen (the first 10 seconds is enough)

My 2025 Rav4 Car Play works fine with iOS 26.

Silence Warning Beeps

Yesterday I hauled some large boxes in the trunk and had to tie the trunk lid down as I couldn't close it. The entire ride home I had the flashing warning light and annoying beeper. Luckily, I only had to go two miles. Is there a way to silence the warning? Surely, I'm not the only person who had to tie down the trunk lid while transporting large objects.

DVD Visual Playback?

Ottocast taking over A MONTH to ship

Can someone with a pre-wireless car play model please reassure me that the Air Plus is worth this complete and utter run around I am getting from Ottocast?

I ordered on 4/17. On 4/27 I wrote to them concerned that I had gotten an order confirmation but no shipping info.

Very nice apologetic reply. �We�ll throw in a 45W charger for the inconvenience, blah blah blah��

On 4/30 I get a shipping notification but they clearly think I�m stupid because the tracking only says �label created�. Yesterday, 5/4, I email them asking when is this ACTUALLY going to ship? I get a reply saying that it just left the sort facility and can take 10-15 MORE days to get.

FFS� what an unethical way to do business.

But�. I plan on owning the car for many years.

Please tell me the solution is worth it, long term.
