One of them suggested disabling the battery and sorting it out in the morning.
Well now.......how the hell do I open the boot to get back to the battery 🪫 😭
There doesn't seem to be a key, and Google tells me you can't get to the boot from the rear seats.

Wow! I didn't know this article exited till now. Just wanted to share with everyone on the forum. Shows the intricate details of the LS500's V35A-FTS engine. No part numbers listed but the CAD views are incredible. If you've ever wanted to disassemble your engine, now you don't have to!

I just bought an LS 500 2018. I wanted a 2020 but limited options. I bought one with the exec package. The HUD button and View button (camera button) does nothing when I click them. Any ideas? I know HUD is expensive to replace. The camera works fine but the button is suppose to make the camera come on while parked or moving slow and it doesn't. Could this be an update? My fuel pump went out the day after I bought the car. It's covered with the recall so they are fixing that (currently at the Lexus dealership) . Could that have created issues with those buttons left of the steering wheel?

Thanks in advance!

Hi fellow LS 500 enthusiasts! I Hope you're weekend is going well! I have a twenty twenty two model with thirty seven thousand miles. Other than the less than easy to use tech, I love this car, especially the build quality.

However , I do have a problem with my cruise control. Hopefully it's just something I'm not understanding, however I feel it is something else.
Maybe you can help me out to figure out what's going on. I brought this up to the lexus dealer two times and they are not able to give me a good answer as to what the problem or solution is.
Seems like sometimes they are either unaware of the problem or they ignore that I have a problem.

When setting the cruise control , I use the buttons on the steering wheel, on the right hand side of the steering wheel.
First I set the cruise control with the larger button to the right of the cancel button. This button works well in setting the initial cruise control setting, which is whatever speed I am at the time I pressed the button. So now I'm on the road, and I decide I want to speed up either by pressing the +RES button to the left of the cancel button, or I just speed up by pressing the gas pedal down.
Next I decide I'm going to fast and so I hit the cancel button or tap the brakes.
Now the car slows down to a lower speed.
Okay, now here comes the problem: I decide I want to set the cruise again, so I press the -SET button to the left of the cancel button. The speed at which the cruise sets is not the speed that I am currently traveling at, it usually sets at a much higher speed. Once in awhile, when I press the -SET button at this point, the cruise actually does set at the speed I am currently traveling at, but most of the time, it sets it at a much higher speed, frustrating, and a bit dangerous.
Any thoughts on what the problem is, or what I am doing wrong?
Thank you in advance for any insight, wisdom or solution you may be able to share about my problem.
Happy motoring , and may God bless your day!

Hello everyone, It’s been a while. I have been in and out of Hospital dealing with cancer. Anyhow I think my pre-collision sensor is not working! After having minor repairs to my front bumper My pre-collision warnings are no longer occurring. I even tried approaching from behind at a rapid rate of speed and nothing. This is dangerous though I will not recommend. I read somewhere that if it isn’t working it should show up as a warning on the dash. So I am not sure. I tried finding a turn on or off part in the menu or dash listings to no avail. does anyone have any ideas? btw, all the other sensors in the front bumper are working like paking and lane assist. Any ideas?
