I have a 2019 RX-350 Base. It did not come with a factory towing package. I've added a 3 party receiver hitch - primarily for a bike rack. I am considering adding the wiring needed for trailer lights in case I may want to tow a very light/small trailer in the future. Does anyone have any information about the OEM wiring harness that was included as part of the factory towing package?

Need a new hood latch for 2018 RX 350. Ordered one on line from Walmart - likely came from a 3rd party seller. About $40 vs $160 through Toyota/Lexus. It is made in China. Looks reasonable but will see when I take the old one out and compare. I assume they use a lighter gauge of steel? Is there any reason to pay more and get an OEM part for this application or is this an effective alternative. The original seems to have at least one broken spring (there are 3 in total) but can's seem to find them separately. Thoughts?

Has anyone finally been able to resolve or atleast eliminate majority of the idle vibration on the 4th gen RX350?

I feel noticeable but not violent vibration under my seat at idle in D or R, not in P or N. I have been looking into possible solutions for months and I’m just hesitant to pull the trigger on replacing engine mounts on the car as a last resort.

My 2017 RX350 (104k kms) idles at like 580-610 rpms from what I can gage from BlueDriver. Its particularly annoying to deal with in stop and go traffic.

I’ve tried MAF sensor cleaning, throttle body cleaning, injectors, changing fuel type (87 to 91/93), putting in fuel injector cleaner (BG44k) and nothing has eliminated the vibrations yet so far.

Car otherwise is really enjoyable to drive. Hopefully someone has a solution they can recommend!

I will soon need new pads and rotors for my 2017 RX350. I bring my RX and ES350 to Toyota for all routine maintenance. At my next service at Toyota I plan to ask them for a price quote using the specific Lexus part numbers (not "AZ" parts) for the pads, rotors and front shims that I provide. I will also ask my local Lexus dealer for their best price.

So 2 questions:
1) What do you think is a fair price for a Lexus dealer to perform this service, and
2) Would you trust Toyota to do an equally competent job?
