Why no mods available for Lexus anywhere?!

Maybe because I had a Toyota Tacoma before this Lexus and found never ending mods for it but with the Lexus, there is just not much out there. Why is that? Found some vinyls blackout stickers for the front and back emblems and couple replacement shift *****. Not much else. Oh and valve stem caps with �Lexus� on them lol. Does anyone have a website you can recommend?

HUD Retrofit

So after finishing my last project, which was to retrofit my car with dynamic cruise control, I started thinking about what other gadget I miss most. The clear winner was the HUD, which makes you feel like a fighter pilot :D

It took me almost a year to complete this project, but let's start with a photo of current state and then a tutorial on how I did it.

My NX200t is pre-facelift!!

I took inspiration from these blog posts:

Parts list:
- HUD projector 83108-78010 (this part number does not exist in part catalogue, but projector ofc exists for pre-facelift cars, you can buy it on ebay)
- HUD buttons 84120-78010
- Trim panel for HUD buttons 55446-78020
- Ventilation duct for HUD 55084-78030
- Instrument Panel Wire 82142-78020 / 82142-78040 / 82142-78070 (many part number, verify that HUD connector is there)

I bought projector/buttons/wire second hand, they are hard to find but when they appear on auction they stay there for long.
I could not find trim panel and ventilation duct so I ordered them at dealership.

In meantime I checked wiring diagrams and service manuals to learn how HUD is integrated in car, and it's not complicated at all.

As you can see, 4 wires for power, 3 from buttons, and 4 for communication with rest of the car, nothing complicated.
But from bad news I discovered that my car is not pre wired for HUD :( It was too late to resign so I left that problem for future me:D
How to tell if your car is pre wired ? count wires in this connector, if it's more than 5 your retrofit will be a lot easier than mine :D Connector is behind trim panel in front of passengers seat

Has anyone here had hands-on experience with the aftermarket OEM replacement Lexion LX10S system in a Lexus NX 2015 equipped with Mark Levinson audio? How does it perform in real-world use, and is there any distributor in Europe where this kit can be purchased?

NX300 Steering Concern - What to Check

Hi folks, I tried searching this forum but could not find a relevant thread.

My wife's 2021 NX300 - For the last few days she feels that the car is pulling back to center harder, making it more difficult to turn. At first it was only when turning right. Now she says it's going both ways. It's subtle - something someone who drives the car every day would notice. She drives a lot and is worried that it's getting worse. No lights on the dash about it.

I noticed this car seems to have a fully electric steering assist. She's taking it to the dealer but I would like to understand what additional systems could be affecting this.

Generally I would look at:
Alignment
Steering and suspension joints
Tire wear

For this car additionally:
steering position sensor

Anything else specific to this car's steering that could be checked?

Lane departure seems to work correctly still.

2017 lexus NX rear electronic brake hex screws

I am trying to do the rear brakes on the 2017 nx200t F sport and i stripped the hex screw that bolts the electronic rear brake into the caliper. anyone have the part number or a guide to doing the rear brakes? Thanks!

I was trying to replace the Idler pully and tensioner messed up and broke the A/C compressor pully. It looks complicated to remove, can it be done without removing the compressor?

Hissing sound near gas tank in the rear

I've noticed stange sound in interrior like something turning on and off. I opened the hood but no noise was present. than I heard that near rear wheel some strange hissing sound? I wonder something wrong is with EVAP system but cannot decide which part of it is faulty?

Anyone encountered such problem?

Hi All, Did i make mistake? I bought a 2021 NX base (including Premium and Cold Weather package) for 30.5K OTD. It only has 22.5k miles. I feel bad because it's 5-year-old car almost 6 and i still have to pay this much.

Now questions: How much for remote starter (if it can integrate into the remote? Ayy other accessories? Mud guard, step boards?

Aftermarket Side Mirror Glass Replacement

Hello! Has anyone had any luck finding a good aftermarket replacement for a shattered passenger side mirror (glass part only that�s attached to a panel) ? I have a 2020 nx300 and recently installed one that I found on Amazon which fit perfectly and looked great except the blind spot monitor light was not working as advertised. It looks like the photo below, glass/panel is a one piece plug and play replacement by a brand called EAP. My next plan is to switch the wiring and BSM LIGHT piece from the OEM to the aftermarket one.
