Are RC 350s really selling in the low $20k range? I have never thought about selling my 2016 F-Sport but my kids are getting bigger and the back is getting tight. Plus I need more room so have been thinking about selling and getting an SUV. I have a project car that is a couple so really don't need 2 anymore. I was on autotempest the other day and was looking at 1st Gen RCs with 150k-ish miles and saw most were going for $20-24k. I was surprised by this considering I bought mine in 2018 for $39k. Mine is quite modified but can return it back to stock if needed. Something in the low $20k range would nice.

I just did an ATF drain and fill, and in a week or so I'll be dropping the pan, replacing the strainer, and of course adding more new ATF fluid.
I plan to do additional drain and fills to get the ATF fluid mostly new.

While reading about the procedures I discovered the manual calls for a reset of the "ATF Thermal Degradation Estimate" when 50% or more of the ATF fluid is replaced.

How critical is it that this be done? I read somewhere that it can affect the shifting parameters.

Is there a way to reset this without Techstream or an expensive OBD scanner?

I also need to clean the dash and center console areas, and the consensus seems to be 303 with a microfiber cloth. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

I’m planning my next setup for my 2018 Lexus RC350 AWD and wanted to get real-world fitment advice before I buy everything. I’ll be buying new wheels and lowering the car on RSR Down Sus springs, so I’m trying to dial in the fitment properly the first time.

My goal is a clean, flush look or slightly aggressive, but nothing over the top (no crazy poke or excessive camber).

Current setup (for reference):

OEM 19” wheels

235/40R19 tires

Stock suspension

What I’m considering:

Front: 19x8.5 (+30 to +35)

Rear: 19x9.5 (+38 to +42)
(open to better setups if there’s something proven)

Looking for advice on:

Best wheel width + offset combo on RSR Down Sus (or similar drop)

Tire sizes that pair well without rubbing

Whether spacers are still needed with a proper wheel setup

Any rubbing issues (turning, dips, passengers, etc.)

If fender rolling or camber adjustments were needed

If you’re running a similar setup, please drop photos of your fitment (side + front/rear angles) and your full specs (wheel size, offset, tire size, suspension)

Trying to avoid trial and error and get a dialed OEM+ or slightly aggressive look right away. Appreciate any help 🙏
