2023 IS350 wheel is squealing...why?

For about a week, I've noticed my front right wheel is making a faint squealing sound as I pull away and reach speeds up 50 mph. Can hear it with the window down, but not much when up. It goes off and on and changes from high to low pitches. Seems to be getting more constant each day. Also noticed when I turn to the left, it fades a little. And when I hit the brakes harder, it changes tone or fades a little. Otherwise it's always making the noise as I cruise or accelerate. Doing some general searching, some possibilities could be a worn brake pad, brake dust deflector is bent, or a bad bearing. I honestly have no idea. I've never had a wheel make noise when I was not on the brakes. So I'm thinking it's likely not the pad. And at 37k easy miles with nearly all manual downshifting to a stop, I can't think the pad would be worn on one side already. But I suppose it's still in the cards. Before I take it in, any insight on what may be causing the noise? It almost has an electric sound to it, but does sound like a metal squeal.
Thank you.

Coming from a 2IS which I GREATLY miss (not all the spaceship bullshit like this car) the drivers side front PSI on the TPMS screen shows amber some times, then, under the same conditions as last time, does NOT show amber. Why. AND, what does amber even mean? Normally, on the older cars, some manufacturer's will flash the psi reading or change it to a different color when the tire reads 20 or 25% loss of the set rating in the computer. This, I have nooooo idea. I did the math for I think 36psi, which I remember that from the manual, it doesn't add up. Anyone?

First off, holy abandoned forum batman! Alllll my searches for my specific topics all pulled up threads from like 2018 and older... wow. Did everyone sell their Lexuses?
My main question is about the engine noises you hear in our cabins, specifically the 2015 350 awd f sport. When I do a search, it seems to be around four or five scattered posts from 48 years ago, so I didnt want to comment in them for fear of upsetting some people w/ the old thread thing.

Do we have this down to a science yet, as to which cars in which year ranges got a speaker for the fake noise with switch, without switch, and the intake tube engine noise router? AND, if you have the little router thingy, how to delete that so the car's quieter? I keep on reading that it's a hemholz chamber that's supposed to actually quiet the noise, but then I read some posts where they say it makes it louder on purpose.
Does anyone have a definitive answer to this stuff? I remember a guy on here that knew EVERYTHING about our cars; Jeff Lange was it? Is he still around?

Hey All,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Looking for some fitment advice for my '22 IS350 F-SPORT AWD. Currently on stock suspension, wheels, and tires.

I have a set of staggered 19" Niche Misano (19x8.5, +33 front / 19x9.5, +35 rear) from my previous '14 IS350 AWD, wrapped in some Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 235/35ZR19 | 265/30ZR19 tires. Seem to be getting mixed answers about if they will fit without any rubbing?

I see the overall ratio of the Niche setup is smaller than stock, meaning the speedo would read higher than actual speed, but worry that jumping up in tire aspect ratio to a 235/40 | 265/35 would lead to rubbing.
I also have noted that I'll need to switch to M14x1.5 conical lug bolts with a ~28-32mm shank.

Appreciate any insights anyone could share about if either the above wheel/tire combo or scaling up slightly to the 235/40|265/35 aspect ratio would work without any rubbing (or fender work).

(I would like to lower it with RSR Down springs in the future too, but am thinking this wheel setup may be too aggressive for a drop...)

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone swapped out any of the speakers on a 2021+ IS350 with ML? I've had the 2025 IS350 with ML for a few months now and I can't say that I'm overly impressed with the sound that I've gotten out of it. Tried playing around with the front/back fader but the rear door tweeter and mid woofer sound much worse compared to the front speakers and the rear deck speakers are barely audible. The front speakers are clear but but at times a bit shrill.

Currently thinking about replacing the corner dashboard speakers first but I'm getting some mixed information. I've dug through a few threads trying to find information but it seems like most of the info is for 2014-2020 models. With the 2021 refresh, it seems like they changed some of the speakers/ the amp so Im not sure if the diagram in this thread still applies. I also chatted with Crutchfield and they said that corner dashboard speakers are 4 ohm - recommending Rockford Fosgate R14X2. Can anyone verify? I might just pop one of corner speakers out this week and try to measure the impedance.

A few hours before that i fixed the headlight as the car got a new paint on front and the headlight was not put the right way.

I tried removing the battery hoping it would fix but nothing.

I tried removing the errors, the car starts for a second until the errors appear again and it stopa the car completely, I cannot move it so I am just stuck. The battery is not original so i was thinking it might be the problem, also i am thinking that i touched something on the right front side when i moved the headlight so i checked everything(nothing there) . The car has 67000 km

Has anyone successfully installed KW V3 coilovers on a 2021–2023 Lexus IS350 F Sport?

Mine is a 2023 IS350 F Sport [RWD/AWD]. I contacted KW directly and they said they have not officially test fit anything newer than 2016, so they could not confirm fitment.

I know the newer IS is still based on the XE30 platform, so I’m wondering if anyone has personally run the kit successfully on the facelifted models.

Main things I’m trying to find out:

direct bolt-on or modifications needed

AVS/electronic suspension issues

warning lights

ride quality

rubbing or alignment problems

part numbers used

Photos would also help a lot. Thanks.

I have a '24 IS350 F-Sport ~17K miles that is in need of some new front tires due to the inner tread being worn. (Yes, I know about the LCA bushings) I have the 19" black chrome wheels, staggered. The stock front size is 235/40/19 and to me, they look a little stretched on the wheel. Anybody here go up to a 245/40 or 255/35? From what I read, the wheels are 19"x8.5" in front and 19"x9.5" in the rear. So, a 255/35 in front should fit properly. Not sure if there would be any clearance issues.

(I might consider doing the LCA brackets at a later date, but for now I just need to get the tires replaced.)

Greetings Club Lexus,

I wanted to get your guys take on something. My 2025 Lexus IS F Sport 350 came with the 10.3 inch screen with navigation, but not with the Mark Levinson system (most have said it was standard, but I have checked my VIN and other sources and I just have the standard Lexus Premium Audio 10 speaker system). I wanted to upgrade my speakers and I was using AI and they said that I had to use certain speakers to "plug and play" with the current wiring system and components already installed (I didn't want to re-wire and etc.). AI has spit out the following:

Focal IS 165TOY — Front speakers

Focal IC 165TOY — Rear speakers

Rockville SS10P — Under‑seat powered subwoofer

From the research I did, Focal has a pretty good reputation. The AI tool mentioned these speakers would be plug and play with my model and would give me a much better sound than what's in it today (300-400% better clarity and etc.). It sounds really enticing as I want to have a better sound in my car.

Has anyone ever upgraded their speakers before? Any thoughts on Focal?

Any other tidbits or experiences I should know about?

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Hi Everyone, I am having 1.4A of current when the car is off, everything is OFF, key away, doors closed. connected a multimeter in series with Battery + and noticed 1.4A . car has mark levinson sound system.

also I have removed all the connectors from the radio head except the big one. whenever I remove this 40 pin connector the parasitic draw vanishes. this has been killing me for months.
if the car stays OFF for more than 15 hours the battery is dead and I have to jump the car.
