One day, when I started the car, the monitor wouldn't open. At the workshop, after forcing the monitor open, with the engine running, the monitor showed no signs of life, not even a picture, even though the radio and CD were working.
We connected the same monitor from another HS, but the same thing happened, without success...
We continued to investigate, disconnected all the wires, and found a control unit installed below the monitor (photo below). The mechanic said it might be the problem and advised buying one...
Meanwhile, we reassembled everything, reconnected everything, and a miracle happened: everything worked, the monitor opened automatically, and the video signal appeared. We turned the car off and started it again several times, and everything worked.
The next day, I started the car, and again, the monitor wouldn't open... So, does that mean the problem is still in that control unit?
