I have a 2011 RX350 and and looking for front grille replacement options and the Lexus emblem that goes in the middle. I'm not looking for a oem replacement. I want something that looks different. Please help!

Headlight assembly upgrade options

Heater issues

I have a long saga. Maybe my RX 350 2011 is ready to be terminated

here is the sequence of events
1) hvac controls takes several minutes to boot up
2) passenger side only blows hot air
3) air conditioner doesn�t work

replaced the HVAC amplifier
tried to replace the servo, that was mess an relized it can�t be done. Put it all back together. Tried to plug in a new servo and it didn�t work either

now i get hot air in the vents all the time.

I�m so frustrated, I wanted to keep this car running longer

2014 RX450h Radiator help!

wondering if this is a clean wipe and monitor OR replace the whole radiator (says the dealer) type of job?

is there a plug or stopper where the crystals are formed? Also wondering why the extra outlet was made, seems like there�s no use for it??

Help me Evaluate these two RX350s

I'm in the market for a 2015 RX350 in the New York City area. I'm evaluating these two:

2015 Base 67,000 Gold / Beige Leather $17,850
2015 F Sport 88,000 Nebula Grey / Black Leather $18,750

We are an older couple who drive like we are 70 years told. It seems like the F Sport has additional features but we are worried about the suspension as it runs rougher. My question is, can the F Sport be adjusted to run soft or "not so rough". Budget is not an issue at this price. Also, is the F Sport the best option?

Both of these cars have two owners and NO accidents. Is there a list of items to check? a buying guide?

2011 RX350 Repair Shop Recommendation

Who do RX 350 owners in the KC Metro/Johnson County, KS area trust for major repair? 2011 former CPO car with 162,000 miles. Not using stealership any longer as they were defensive after a recheck of their alternator replacement. Local shop known to be reputable replaced front brakes this week but also noted valve gasket leak (not the timing seal cover leak - yes have that too), rack and pinion steering leak "starting", and rear shock leaking (they said to replace both rear). Lexus did not note the gasket leak or steering leak in April and Nov 25 and have replaced one rear shock 2024 (10,000 miles ago)

So I'm questioning the new discoveries and looking for a trustworthy shop for a second opinion. Ideally, was trying to keep this baby going a little longer. Thanks for the help!!

2015 RX350 Goes Forward in Reverse?

Hey everyone,

My dad recently picked up a 2015 Lexus RX350 from auction sight unseen. It's a one-owner Carfax, dealer only service history, 95K mile car. Interior and exterior has been kept in really good condition and the fluids, tires, and brake pads look new too. However, we have a weird transmission issue:

In Drive: The car drives forwards.
In Reverse: The car also drives forwards.

The first thing my mind went to is that the shifter cable / shifter linkage is having an issue, prices on them aren't too bad so I can replace them with not too much difficulty. Before I go ahead and purchase them though, has anyone seen this happen on these cars? Any advice on what else to look for would be appreciated.

2015 RX AWD. 103,000 miles, all previous service done as scheduled. Lexus recommends coolant replace (I agree), power steetring fluid (need advice), fuel filter (need advice). Taking it to a reputable Toyata dealer. Do it all? Or just oil cjange and coolant? Thx in advance.

2012 RX350 Rusted Frame by Rear Spring bracket

The unibody frame rail by the top mounting bracket for the rear coil springs of my car has rusted through with a few holes. I was planning to undercoat the car when i found the weak spots with a screw driver. Anyway if you have experienced repairing this type of damages, please give me some guidance. I appreciate the help.

Dash Cam recommendations 2013 RX350

Greetings,

Looking at adding a dash cam to our 2013 RX350 f-sport. What dash cam would anyone recommend or have experience with in 2026. How specifically do you wire it up and mount it in this particular generation vehicle, so it looks good? I believe the newer models have an accessory plug in the rear-view mirror. Is there anything on this generation in there to get power with?

2013 RX450h sound made when hood open with FOB detected

Hi,

I am hoping this is normal, but when I open my 2013 RX450h's and with the FOB key in my pocket, I keep hearing the "errrrrrrrrrr" sound periodically (repeating every minute or so) as long as the car detected the FOB and the hood stays opened. That is, if FOB is not detected, I don't hear the sound. Is hearing the sound periodically with the FOB detected normal?

Greatly appreciate it if any with an RX450h (3rd gen years) could confirm thiswith their cars.

Headlight level sensor warning notice

Have the headlight level sensor message on dash. Easy fix? Tried to clear but came back.

'11 RX350 AWD Warning - C1298 Linear Solenoid

'11 RX 350, had "Check AWD system" warning on dash.
Scan tool said C1298 Linear Solenoid.
Clearing code does nothing.
Magnetic coupling relearn does nothing.

Other indicators that might be helpful:
- No engine light.
- No ABS/TRACS light.
- All 4 wheels are using identical rims & tires.
~~- Occasionally goes out after starting, then comes back after driving 10ft~~ doesn't do this anymore its just permanent now.
- Also AWD somehow still works (all 4 wheels rotating when on the lift)
- Otherwise car drives fine.

Best guess is the magnetic coupler is faulty somehow, haven't done anymore diag as the car is still being driven.
Any other advice on where to look?

Engine Noise

I just bought a RX 350 from a Lexus dealer in Houston, with 70000 miles. I heard this engine noise and asked them to address it. They said it was normal, which I know it is not. I have a 30 day/1000mile warranty. Any thoughts what this might be? It is intermittent. Tks.

Edit: Ok, when I turn off the AC it goes away. Compressor clutch?

Front brakes making "eh" noise when pressing down the brake paddle

Hi all,

My 2014 RX450h suddenly started making "eh" squeeky or squawking noises when I pressed down the brake paddle. Finally, I am able to reproduce the problem even when the car at a stop by pressing the brake down, and it do press down far enough and hold the brake paddle, I can hear the sound continuously. I don't mean to blame, but this now happens, after a week or so, of having brought the car in for two new front tires replaced. I am not sure if they did something bad when they gave that "free inspection," frankly without my asking. I just wanted to tell the complete story.

I would apprecite of any information on this. My initial research is that air somehow got in the brake line? If so, I can do a brake fluid flush accordinly to let the air out. But, if that is the case, how that heck air got in? That's another story. For now, I am looking for what the real cause is.
