When I can't find a genuine set of mats, I buy the generic custom sized mats and iron on these embroidered logos. Worked great in my ES, GS, LS, etc.

I have set of light beige mats matching the beige carpet trim in my savannah 04 IS200.

I have 2 colours of Lexus logos:
1. tan lettering on gold
2. beige lettering on dark charcoal.

I was first thinking to use 1, but now I see 2 in place I think 2 looks better ...?:uh:

Which colour looks better?

Hey all new to the forum hoping to find the info I知 looking for. I値l start with listing what I致e got then follow with what I want to do.

What I have. 2002 is300 factory auto, now running an r154 manual swap 1 piece driveshaft currently still using auto ecu tricked into first gear by ma macgivering the wires together under the console and tranny works fantastic.

What I want to accomplish, I知 looking to Na-T my is300 I have all the parts I need manifold turbo maf from GTE throttle from GTE intake etc. I have access to an aristo ecu (2jz GTE VVTi) with the immobilizer deleted. Im not afraid of the legwork i manual swapped my car in my back yard on ramps and a jenga stack of 4x4 wood blocks. Made my clutch pedal myself by cutting and welding a Camry pedal used the tunnel from an bmw e46 manual to close up the shifter hole this is what I want to be doing and I知 not gonna be convinced to go with a standalone. I want to re-pin my factory is300 wiring into the plugs that go to the aristo ECU. Therefor running all my factory accessories and components through the body harness and having access to the turbo ecu avoiding going with a standalone and running a stock map boost setup. Does anyone have this info readily available that would save me tons of time?

Thank you all in advance for absolutely any constructive info I can pull from this post, Ron.

IS300 Sportcross, 2002, chassis #174, 170k miles. *All* of the rear red lights - brake, parking, etc. are on and nothing I've tried has made any difference - they stay on - bright, like you're hitting the brakes - no matter how the stalk light switch is set (parking only, auto, on, brights or not). No difference if car is running, off with key in ignition, key turned to accessory setting, or even whether the key is physically in the car at all. Fog light switch on/off - no difference.

First night I noticed it was after 2 nights of 2" rainfall, so I thought maybe just letting it dry out would help and left it in the garage overnight - seems the lights stayed on until they killed the battery as it was dead flat the next morning. I hooked up a battery charger and the lights came right back on, but at least it charged enough to start and move if needed after night 2.

Sooo....it's driveable but dangerous to do so as all the tailgate lights indicate the car is under full-brake all the time.

I have an ODB scanner somewhere and can dig it out if I have to (it's had the CEL on since I bought it four years ago, I've, run the codes, and they were all very minor, reappeared immediately after clearing and do not seem to affect driving at all)

Now what? Suggestions appreciated!
The rear end is getting rather 'lumpy' on rougher roads and I want to replace the rear struts.

But I'm only looking for a feel that's comparable to the OEM struts so I guess I'll get the OEM parts (if still available)

Can someone recommend a parts list required/recommended to replace in addition to the struts (necessary bolts, etc.) ?

I recently had the fuel pump replaced by a shop and unfortunately the mechanic had some type of chemical on his glove that left a sticky like substance on my dash bezel cover. I cleaned it off with a Lysol wipe. The sticky substance was removed, but so was the paint down to the black plastic underneath. 2001 is the only year with a painted dash in graphite gray pearl. I have been looking everywhere for a excellent condition used 2001 dash cover bezel in graphite gray pearl and I have had no luck. I may just have to have a body shop repaint it. Does anyone know of a excellent condition dash cover bezel in graphite gray pearl at a junk yard and/or for sale?

~~

Fun news, folks. To celebrate the Lexus IS's 25th birthday (and to hopefully sell more 2026 IS 350s), our favorite Toyota division is hosting a four-city road show dubbed the Lexus IS Legacy Tour (<-- hit that link for official details).

Think of it as the ultimate car show centered around the Lexus IS. An Autocross Track (with 2026 IS 350 ride-alongs).
Food trucks.
Mark Levinson & Music.
Lexus Accessories.
Japangeles merch.
Contests.
Giveaways.
And of course, 25 years of Lexus IS models.

All Lexus owners are welcome to attend. The event is FREE. However, if you own an IS, you can go to Lexusislegacytour.com and snag one of the complimentary VIP Owners' Paddock, where your car will be part of the show (and Lexus will throw in a free bag of merch.)

AND... the tour is kicking off right here in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 30th, where I'm based, so I'd love to make this an official ClubLexus MEETUP for any members who live in Southern California! So let me know if you're interested and if you're planning to attend and hit up --
Lexusislegacytour.com
TO REGISTER
UPDATE from Lexus just to be extra clear for anyone who might be confused.

TO ATTEND, you don't have to register. You don't need to own an IS or a Lexus at all. You can just go for fun. All four events will NOT "sell out"

FOR LEXUS IS OWNERS looking for that VIP Owner Paddock Parking, you do need to register. In those cases, the system may say "Sold Out" and suggest a "Waitlist". Lexus told me that people should definitely add themselves to the waitlist. All of those applications will be reviewed by whoever is doing such things, and they may move people around as needed. I'm not sure when they're going to let folks know.
Here are all four cities, dates, times, and locations...
