The Lexus RZ is definitely an underwhelming offering from Toyota. Not only is the city range extremely disappointing (220 miles) but the highway range is even worse at 190 miles!! This vehicle definitely needs to a 100KWH battery pack and at least 350 miles of range. While I do think the exterior design is phenomenal and the interior design is o.k. the vehicle is definitely overpriced and the main competitor for this vehicle would be the Genesis GV70 Electrified which has a much better exterior design and higher quality interior materials. Along with better safety features and faster charging architecture. And even though the Tesla has better range and is larger, it is also a lot cheaper than the Lexus RZ450e and charges much faster. Time to go back to the drawing board!! The Tesla Model Y would win hands down!!

LoL Hyundai only gives $5000 "bonus cash" on an Ioniq 5 lease, which is just a renamed Federal tax rebate. I don't even think I've seen one of these on the road yet, which is probably why they are giving such a generous lease rebate

In the US the cheapest RZ is nearly $60k and doesn't qualify for the federal tax credit. The cheapest Model Y at the moment is $44k, and the long range is only $49k. Not only that, you get the $7,500 tax credit, too. The price alone is going to make the RZ a tough sell.

The price cuts at Tesla have been insane. New performance Model Y's are around what I paid for my long range Model 3 in 2018.
