Quote: For the 21's are you going to get shims to correct the camber? Everything I've read so far indicates it's worthwhile and you don't need to go overboard with N2Itive kit.

Apparently these do a decent job for next to nothing. These are from Jamie Sig. I'm sure you've seen all the Signature wheels he sells Shim kit
I am not planning on getting shims to correct the camber. When I was at the Tesla store the person I talked to said they supposedly fixed the issue but who knows if that is true. I am also going wide with 315's out back and 275's up front. I also ordered from VT Forged who has great deals on forged wheels vs. Signature who's prices have crept up and isn't any different than BC Forged. My 21" VT forged wheels were only $3400 shipped to my door with custom width/offsets.

Quote: Everybody I know who has an issue with Tesla it’s all tied to Elon. I 100% believe at least all the people I know’s issues would go away.

A company can’t move forward without their core customer base.
People say a lot. I hate you so much that I want you fired and won't even walk in your store, but I'm still willing to help you make hundreds of billions of dollars. Yeah, I don't buy that. Sounds more like virtue signaling.

Plus, Tesla was going to have to start appealing to a more diverse group of Americans at some point anyway. Now it just as good as time as any. It's the best product for the money. It's the most American product. Get to marketing it that way and if someone is mad enough to sacrifice owning the best, then let them miss out. Plenty of customers out there. Teslas have gotten good enough to not be held hostage anymore, but it will take work.

Its 100% all about virtue signaling lol. You’re assigning a depth to peoples stance on this subject I don’t think is actually there.

Probably best. I've read that Tesla service centers aren't willing to work on cars with the camber correct kits.

If that is the case, I'd wait them out. If they are that shallow with their convictions, they will probably end up with a Tesla anyway at some point.

I said myself that people have short attention spans and this will eventually boil over to some degree but it’s not going to be totally solved unless Elon is gone.

Elon is key to opening an entirely new market to Tesla. He will have to earn it, but the product is now good enough to do it. My last 2 referrals were to people that never would have considered a Tesla a few years ago.

The only thing Tesla needs to do is hire a top-notch market group and continue to make the best product for the money. The rest will work itself out.

That would be nice if it's true - about rectifying the faulty design of the camber - it's only been 12 years??👍

I can already tell your new wheels will be fantastic just because of the very wide tires 😁👍👍

Now you're giving me ideas for my Model 3 . My next "mod" will be the Performance boost when it comes out for the new Model 3, than later I'll consider wheels.

I've seen a few Model S and Plaids with the VT forged wheels, and they look amazing 👍

On the performance boost, I really don't need it, but what the heck . Today an IS350 tried to go around me on a single lane road by cutting to the right and trying to pass me using the bicycle lane, but the voice in me had other plans 🤣. Let's just say an IS350 is no match for a Model 3 AWD

No question I would get the performance boost. As for the wheels, these are what I am getting in brushed dark black tinted.

Those look awesome 👍

With the performance boost, it adds an "insane mode" and I can keep it in Normal mode when not using it. The Polestar only had one mode, and all Sports mode did was turn off TC, or actually just lowered it

Those look like a tweak on the BMW 863M, with more rounded edges vs. sharp corners:

Quote: Yes as Hameed said I am just getting another Plaid, same color combo as before, white with black interior, but at least it will have the updated headlights, tailights, roof, seats and screens. I even ordered new wheels for it already but going with 21" wheels this time instead of 20".
Can you remind me what year your current Plaid is? I am ratcheting up my browsing of Tesla S inventory and pre-owned S's. I'm intrigued by your comment about the updated headlights, roof, etc. Is that just a Plaid thing or was there a minor refresh recently (and if so, can you please tell me the year)? Thank you, hope you enjoy your new Plaid.

Also - on those wheels - I looked at the website. How do you know which categories of wheels are OK for a Tesla? They don't filter by car brand or anything so I am interested to see wheel options that I could consider as well. Thanks!
