Petroleum isn't bad, and it's made life easier with all the products that come from it. You can't completely move away from it because of it's usefulness in our daily lives. So I have no issues that something like Pleather or fake leather coming from petroleum. Going back to the leather industry, just take a look at the pictures I posted, and you can see the damage that does on not just the environment, but people who have to be exploited to bring us that beautiful leather

 

I was hoping this meant our Y's value had dramatically increased overnight. Sadly, it hadn't.

Just for fun, I ran a KBB valuation on our Y vs a Rav4 Hybrid Limited, both 2023's. The Toyota shows being worth >$8k more, even though MSRP was ~$10k less in 2023.
