Tesla's deliveries are down 23% globally after the ending of tax credits. Lets see if Cybercab, AI, FSD, robotics and automation pay off

Tesla owners may know this already but I came across this very usable web version of Waze that works via the browser

I've used it a couple of times, however didn't see the point as the existing Tesla NAV does a great job already. I had both running at the same time (on a portrait screen it's not bad at all as there's enough real estate for both).

I think the value is for things like police up ahead and speed traps etc., as I don't think Tesla's onboard nav supports that (please correct me if I'm wrong)

You're right, the Tesla NAV doesn't support that. For me specifically, I tend to drive at the prevailing traffic flow speed and not worry about tickets. Too old for that added , needless anxiety 🙂

No, not yet. It does alert to speed cameras though

I found the wireless charger in my 3 to have a great angle for running Waze while I'm on the go

I personally don't like Waze, the exception being police alerts. I always use Google maps when driving our non Tesla's, which does include alerts for police speed traps

I think their cars are significantly overpriced and the lease deals are not competitive to what BMW/MB give you.

Tesla has been very stagnant in updating its lineup and really not much innovation.

They should make offroad capable 3 row SUV using Cybertruck platform but with normal painted body panels and less of a polarizing design.

I agree. Cybertruck is hideous looking, to say the least

i assume you're only talking about S/X/Cybertruck? the 3 and Y are an amazing value.

pretty hilarious given the software updates and two massively improved entry vehicles 3 and Y. but yes the S and X have really received very little changes.

i think that would be great, but i suspect tesla is VASTLY more focused on cybercab, optimus, and moving to unboxed manufacturing for 3 and Y at least as well.

I think the interiors of 3 and Y are very cheap. The exterior design is plain to somewhat goofy/ugly. For the price, there are much nicer cars to be in with more features.

Software updates are great for Tesla nerds but not for general public. If you can’t see it, was it even changed?
Model Y and 3 refresh were good but the interior improvements didn’t go far enough. Model X is just old and besides the falcon doors, just meh suv for $100k!

Sure Tesla has lots of potential and if things work out “Tesla Car” division might be one of several streams of revenue but that is more than 5 years away. Where are the Tesla Semi-trucks, robotaxis, the crazy supercar and many other “products” that were supposed to be here already.

They also need to work on their Marketing. The demo drives for FSD are cool but I’m pretty sure 99.9% of general public is completely clueless how advanced the Tesla system is.
