EQS Ownership Megathread
Happy to see you're enjoying your EQS...there is something about a Mercedes...
As was said above this is an MB quirk.
I discovered that in this car, you can activate your saved seat position while in motion by pressing and holding memory buttons 1, 2, or 3. However, this feature only works as long as you keep the button pressed. Once you let go, the seat stops adjusting. This is the first time I have experienced memory seats working while driving, which is quite fascinating! In every other car with memory seats I have driven, you needed to be completely stationary to activate your memory seat function.
Another first is that you can use both heating and ventilation with the seats simultaneously. In fact, I even read somewhere that it was recommended in some situations. I can see why because these seats can light your rear end on fire! They are the hottest attaining car seats I've ever experienced, even on the lowest setting.

The most visible malfunction is with the steering column. In contrast, the most frustrating ones are the infotainment glitches that may be resolved with an update, according to the EQ specialist. The voice recognition system is also displaying unusual behavior consistently.
Due to the holiday season, I can only get an appointment at the earliest on the 29th and at the latest on December 7th to have the vehicle inspected at one of the three dealerships where I have scheduled appointments.
Thanks! I am indeed enjoying the EQS, even though a few "quirks" have surfaced early on. I was aware that it was likely only a matter of time before bugs would make an appearance. However, I had hoped there wouldn't be quite this many issues so soon.

You have MBUX though which is a little "quirkier"
Some background info:
#1 After comparing two versions, I found the one without a voiceover to be more effective as the voiceover was too distracting.
#2 & 3 These are the same advertisement with one commercial having a minor scene change to comply with TV censorship. Can you guess which one? 😉
#4 Is just plain fun!

Many years ago I rented a place and little did I know, the huge tree that covered the driveway and house would bring me gifts. Lol
Every day I would wake up to go to work and the tree would drop red gushy berries all over my car from front to back, never missing a spot of juice and goo.
My car looked ridiculous, like someone shot it with a paint gun.
It was so nasty I asked my landlord several times to trim the tree but it didn't happen.
Is it a reason to break a lease and move?
Yeah, you got that right, I moved out!

I recently discovered this website, and I must say it's quite fascinating and insightful. Its unique perspective is definitely worth exploring.
The URL may seem to offer a concise version, but in truth, it's a meticulously crafted piece of literature that demands a thorough read. So, grab a cup of coffee, settle into your favorite reading nook, and savor every word. Trust me, it's worth it!

Wife coworker has EQS. He charge once a week at Mercedes dealer. He’s tried taking road trips in it but he said it was so bad that he bought a 2nd car an A class for road trips. When he charges he said he always charges to 100%. Even when he took it on a road trip, he charged to 100%. Said it would take him around an hour. EQS now stays in town an A class has now taken over road trips.

Having driven A Classes as loaners, I would have a very hard time owning an EQS and driving an A Class on a trip lol.
