Many years ago I rented a place and little did I know, the huge tree that covered the driveway and house would bring me gifts. Lol

Every day I would wake up to go to work and the tree would drop red gushy berries all over my car from front to back, never missing a spot of juice and goo.

My car looked ridiculous, like someone shot it with a paint gun.

It was so nasty I asked my landlord several times to trim the tree but it didn't happen.

Is it a reason to break a lease and move?
Yeah, you got that right, I moved out!

 

As the autumn breeze sweeps away the leaves, I am reminded that in a few short months, I will be in yet another high pollen season. Flourishing trees will bestow upon my car a glistening layer of gold dust as if Tinkerbell herself has waved her wand. So lo and behold, I have successfully installed a charger in my garage, which served as the perfect impetus for me to tidy up the garage to make room for the colossal 17-foot-long EQS.

Playing bird poop bingo on your car isn't as fun as it sounds. It's like the birds are sitting up there, plotting their next move and trying to outdo each other with their aim. I guess I should be grateful that I haven't experienced the wrath of berry bombs yet, but I have a feeling my luck won't hold out forever.

I even conducted a speed test from 0 to whatever speed.

I discovered that in this car, you can activate your saved seat position while in motion by pressing and holding memory buttons 1, 2, or 3. However, this feature only works as long as you keep the button pressed. Once you let go, the seat stops adjusting. This is the first time I have experienced memory seats working while driving, which is quite fascinating! In every other car with memory seats I have driven, you needed to be completely stationary to activate your memory seat function.

Another first is that you can use both heating and ventilation with the seats simultaneously. In fact, I even read somewhere that it was recommended in some situations. I can see why because these seats can light your rear end on fire! They are the hottest attaining car seats I've ever experienced, even on the lowest setting.

Have you ever heard of a music-powered massage? Well, I accidentally discovered one! If my car's massaging seats ever stop working, all I have to do is play "Get Low" and crank up the volume. Trust me, it will beat the Shiatsu out of you! Sure, you'll lose hearing for a while, but your back will thank you! Who knew Lil Jon had healing properties? 😲

This is a bit puzzling, but somehow I managed to miss this one in all my searches. However, I've gone ahead and ordered one, and it should arrive by Sunday. I'm quite optimistic, especially after watching a few videos. I'll keep you posted with my review and include some images as well.

Short, but sweet. I'm tired of constantly seeing fingerprints on my surfaces, and they are not the easiest to remove without the appropriate cloth. This product aims to simplify the cleaning process and apparently reduces the appearance of fingerprints. It is arriving tomorrow and I will provide feedback and images once it's installed.

The memory seat function and the vent/heated seats simultaneously are how they work on all Mercedes. If you want weird, you should try a telsa which allows you to move the seating position memory while in motion with a single push of a button on the screen.

 

Merging a few threads into an overall ownership thread outside of the broader EQS thread.

 

Cool deal.

I must drive my spouse to the airport for their flight to New York City as they work for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As I've already been reprimanded for taking too much time, I need to be brief. I've attached a few quick images and a video. I will also provide some important feedback about the installation that didn't go as planned and what I did to rectify the situation. I want to apologize in advance for my obnoxious breathing. I'm recovering from a severe cold and considerable congestion.

Based on my first impressions, the product looks great and even resembles OEM quality. I immediately noticed that while it's not completely fingerprint-proof as I had expected, it does significantly reduce the visibility of fingerprints and the need for cleaning. Removing the prints from the screen prior wasn't the easiest chore but now its really so much faster!

However, I had to make several tweaks during installation as the included toolkit was not sufficient. I will share the products I used that were necessary. Nevertheless, the installation process was relatively easy, and I am satisfied with the results so far. I will have to wait and see if it's worth the modest investment in the long run. I'm optimistic!
